My responsibility here is to lead a team to design and develop a data warehouse and BI system using Microsoft SQL Server platform (SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI, … ). The system should be extendible and open enough to include whole the business. It also should be integrated enough to provide valid and valuable information to decision makers and managers.

Tosan Intelligence Data Miners is a corporation that works in banking industry in Iran. It provides solutions and services to the major portion of Iranian banks based on data. Solutions like anti money laundry systems and fraud detection services. There, my responsibility was to develop and maintain anti-money laundry systems for about 13 banks using Microsoft tools. I also was a member of developers of bounced check system for Saderat Bank. Our solution mechanized many processes and reduced the time of processing a bounced check around 30 times. We also implemented a reporting system to the directors to monitor activities and tracking bottleneck points in their departments.

Informatics Services Corporation is one of the biggest IT companies in the Middle East with over 1300 employees. The main business of the company is banking softwares like Core-banking and it's customers are some of the biggest banks and institutes in Iran including Central Bank of Iran and Melli Bank.I was employed by the company as a Mainframe developer in the Loan system that was a subsystem of their Core-banking suit. In over two and a half years that I was working there, I designed and developed some large-scale software products and added many new features to legacy systems. I designed several new loan systems like Qarz-ol-Hassaneh(interest free loan) and Vojooh-e-Edareh-Shodeh(Managed loans).Working there requires exceptional concentration ability and high levels of accuracy and punctuality because the complexity degree and criticalness of the system were very high. Team-working and self-management are other abilities that required to working there but beyond all of these abilities, strong skills like analysing and solving complicated problems, developing optimal programs and clean codes with legacy programming languages such as COBOL and JCL with text-based tools and dealing with massive amounts of data were essential. I have had some of those abilities and skills but learned many of them there. My courage about learning and being helpful was the key to successfulness in there.

I was data warehouse and business intelligence developer there. I was a member of the team that designed and implemented a high performance and distributed data warehouse and business intelligence system for Ayandeh Bank using Microsoft SQL Server Platform (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS). The system became very important soon and used by many department in the whole organization especially managers and decision makers.The business of the organization was much complicated and the organization had around 3 millions active costumers and hundreds of branches over the country. The data warehouse we implemented improved efficiency of budgets for the branches significantly and provided an integrated image of the organization to the directors and decision makers.
