Work with grades 1-5 in providing interventions to students with challenges. Also, work with teachers in regards to planning, professional development and instruction.

I have worked in the Office of Staffing for Baltimore County Schools during the summers. I assisted the hiring officers with ensuring candidate files are complete; scheduling interviews for schools; uploading documents in the Applicant Tracking System. The Office of Staffing uses Applicant tracking as their primary database for the candidates. In addition, I have used SilkRoad onboarding systems to track completion of specific tasks, E-verify as well as other onboarding tasks. Since working in a remote setting due to the pandemic, the candidate files were housed also on Share Point to ensure all documents were secure once completed.

I work with students whom may need additional support in reading. Challenges can range from learning phonics/phonemic awareness skills to applying strategies to ensure understanding of what they have read.

I taught in the classroom for five years. I taught Kindergarten, First and Third grades.
