Assistant Dance TeacherVictorias Dance Academy Mar 2012 - Jul 2017Falmouth, Cornwall, United KingdomTaught Ballet, Pointe, Tap and Modern Dance to girls and boys aged 4-17. I had to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ varying needs for example, different ages, behavioural issues and disabilities. I had to be flexible depending on how many young people showed up to dance class. Communication was key to provide them with comfort, encouragement and positive feedback. This was seen present during the dance shows at the Princess Pavilions which I helped choreograph and organise and RAD and ISTD exams every term.
