Hope Manning Email and Phone Number
I am pursuing my M.A. in Museum Studies at The George Washington University (GW). At GW, I work as a Graduate-level Writing Consultant in the GW Writing Center and as a Public Services Assistant at the GW Gelman Library's Special Collections unit. This past summer, I interned with the Smithsonian American History Museum as a collections management intern for their 50,000+ object collection of historic prints and printmaking equipment. At the University of Richmond (UR), I double-majored in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and Art History with a concentration in arts management. While at UR, I worked in the Boatwright Library's Book Arts, Archives, and Rare Books department as a student assistant. Simultaneously, I worked with the UR Museums in various capacities, progressing from a front desk assistant to a curatorial assistant to a marketing/educational assistant. As a summer intern for Capital One's corporate art collection, I employed collections management practices to their 8,000-object contemporary art collection and collaborated with team members.
