I have twenty-three years of experience as an educator. All of these years were spent teaching third, fourth, or fifth grade. During these years I have served as the fourth and fifth grade science leader, webmaster for my elementary building, presented at the PASCD conference in Hershey, PA, wrote science curriculum, and front-loaded in-coming fourth graders in reading and math during the summer months. I attended the Western PA Science Consortium to be trained in a new online curriculum platform and taught it to my colleagues. I used the training to write new science curriculum for the school district. Recently I was a member of the PA Framework Grant Team to write the computer science curriculum and piloted the new coding program.
