As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Alabama, I assist professors with teaching and research tasks in the field of Anthropology. I also conduct my own studies on cultural diversity and social change, using various methods such as writing, interviewing, and observation. I am pursuing my Masters of Arts in Anthropology, expected to graduate in May 2025, with the goal of becoming a professor or a researcher in the future.Before joining UA, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Anthropology at Texas Tech University, where I also worked as a Student Government Assistant for over three years. In this role, I handled front desk responsibilities, filed paperwork, answered questions, and supported the university's student-led organization endeavors. I also gained valuable leadership and teamwork skills by serving as a Worship Director at Student Life, where I created worshipful environments for thousands of individuals and led a team of experienced musicians. Additionally, I studied Cultural Anthropology at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici in Italy for a semester, where I learned about different cultures and histories. I love music, history, and people, and I strive to use my skills and passions to make a positive impact in the world.
