Provide organizational leadership, management, planning, evaluation, and strategic direction to fulfill Bentley Library’s mission; one that values diversity and reflects a full spectrum of resources and services to the community we serve.

Provide excellent leadership to support the teaching, learning, research and service missions of the university where the library is the convener of scholars and facilitator in knowledge creation, curation and scholarship. An open and collaborative manager who supports an outstanding library staff who continues to develop creative solutions to educating students, enhancing faculty research and delivering the best user experience to the people the library serves.

* Work with Director in various administrative duties, including ongoing assessment of library services and resources, accreditation, statistics, outreach, policies and strategic planning* Direct and foster independent working environment in the reference department* Oversee the integration of information literacy standards into curriculum* Support customer-focused reference service in the physical and digital library environments* Monitor trends in academic reference services* Encourage innovation and use of new library technologies* Write and update policies for the development of library collections and resources* Represent the library on various academic committees
