I am an empathetic and compassionate mental health advocate who brings a holistic approach to health. I have served in community mental health, clinical, and research settings providing culturally competent advocacy and support services to the underserved and disenfranchised populations. After hitting "pause" on my mental health career, I decided to go to graduate school and pursue my passion for supporting others to make meaningful changes in their lives and fight to abolish the stigma around mental health conditions. I am in my third year and completing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in December of 2022.In various corporate roles I held, I stayed close to my passion for people, their education, and their potential. I entrenched myself in hiring, developing, coaching, and setting people up for success. I have remained active in my community, volunteered to increase awareness and understanding of mental health issues and wellness opportunities at the micro and macrolevel.
