Education & Events Administrator
CurrentIn my role as Education & Events Administrator, it is my role to focus on our 10 states (MN, ND, SD, IA, NE, Western WI, CO, UT, NM and WY) in the area of Manufacturing Education. We are also partnered with MMT Productivity LLC (Monckton's Machine Tools) in Colorado and Utah. I am responsible for coordinating Educational Seminars for Industry (and Education) here at Productivity and also supporting our Manufacturing Programs at Secondary and Post-Secondary levels - assisting them with the HTEC (Haas Technical Education Center) Network, Teacher Training, Grants, etc. Since the beginning of COVID, due to not being able to hold in-person events, I have had the responsibility of coordinating, producing and hosting/moderating webinars. We held 1-3 per month in 2020 and hope to hold both webinars and (hopefully) in-person events in 2021.I have also been a lead with the planning, implementation and hosting company corporate events, including a 50-year company anniversary party for 500+ employees and guests. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed the past 2 years working in my PT role for Haas Automation, Inc., American Machine Tool Builder in Oxnard, CA as the HTEC Conference and Communications Administrator, I felt the need to focus more on our schools and try to make a bigger difference "in our own backyard." I am also responsible for helping connect Education and Industry - we need to get the conversations going!
Education & Events Administrator; Htec Conference & Communications Administrator
CurrentIn September 1, 2016, with Bob Skodzinsky's retirement, I was asked by Haas Automation in Oxnard, CA to take on part of Bob's position - Conference Planning and Communications. I had been working with the HTEC Network and schools in our Region (MN, ND, SD, IA, NE, Western WI) for the past 6 years, but had branched out to assist all US schools in addition to my regular duties in the Applications group at Productivity Inc. Part of my role with the HTEC (Haas Technical Education Centers Network) Program as the HTEC Conference and Communications Administrator, is to assist with Regional and Annual CNC Educator Conference planning, as well as communications (website, emails, etc.) and working with SkillsUSA and other Educational Events (CTE). As of June, 2017, I have been promoted to the role of Administrator, Education & Events at Productivity Inc, in addition to my role as HTEC Conference & Communications Administrator. In my new role, I will be more involved on the Education side by visiting schools in our 5.5 state area as well as our sister company, MMT-Denver and Salt Lake City’s 5.5 state area, working with their Manufacturing Programs, including helping to promote Manufacturing Education.I will also be coordinating special Events and Seminars here at Productivity for all areas of the company. With my passion for Manufacturing Education and Event Planning, I very much look forward to the new challenges!
