Maintain a bi-weekly schedule of columns concentrating on classic and craft cocktails that offer guidance for the home bartender and injects interesting and significant details of cocktail history and unique or forgotten ingredients. I also shoot and post-produce photos that run with each article.

Tasked with re-inventing a dive bar located on the perimeter of Downtown Boise, I envisioned a comfortable yet informal classic cocktail bar that served proper martinis and manhattans without all the fussy hipster vibes. I designed the logo, interior, signage, cocktail menu, food menu, social media, website, advertising, the kitchen sink. It was an interesting approach to creative direction in that I dove head first into a business and managed the creative direction from the inside out. And yes, I tended bar with fervor and conviction. What was once a cold and seedy little bar with crude and crass drawings on the wall, blossomed into a warm and inviting spot to sip true-to-form classics and interesting wines surrounded by vintage LP covers, subtle lighting and true-to-form classic cocktails.

Our strongest work remains on a zip disc somewhere (anyone have a zip drive I can borrow?).
