• Mobilized reservist under 10 U.S.C. §12302 -- working collaboratively with a team of database administrators, software engineers, and web developers to create and secure technical solutions to help USFF GFM ensure naval forces are better trained, accurately manned, and always mission-ready to support U.S. national interests. • Serve as USFF N1 Information System Security Officer (ISSO) overseeing and ensuring that the appropriate operational security posture (e.g., network and system security, physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, security training and awareness) is implemented and maintained for 250+ USFF N1 information systems.

Taught midshipmen Naval Aviation flying fundamentals through the USNA Powered Flight Program (PFP) at KESN. All midshipmen instructed passed PFP flight syllabus without any failures, allowing them to shorten and accelerate their Naval Aviation flight training syllabus once commissioned.

Support NATO ACT's efforts of leading the military transformation of alliance forces and capabilities, using new concepts such as the NATO Response Force and new doctrines in order to improve the alliance's military effectiveness.

• Serve as Lead Network/Cybersecurity Engineer providing continuing system administration, optimization, troubleshooting, configuration and maintenance on a variety of network devices on 7 highly complex DoD and NASA networks across three geographically separate areas. Networks are used to produce precision time for the Master Clock, timing and synchronization signals for GPS constellation, Earth Orientation parameters, and other critical/classified DOD and NASA programs.• Led efforts to re-engineer and secure critical mission networks achieving an authority to operate (ATO) for a Mission Assurance Category (MAC) I system.• Support government personnel in ensuring that system designs and configurations comply with federal, DoD, DoN, and command policies, including information assurance and net-centricity.• Provide deliverables that are compliant with all applicable DoD security configuration or implementation guides, including Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and vendor hardening guidance.• Work with the team to develop milestones and a plan of action for open vulnerabilities and vet them with the IA manager prior to implementation.• Regularly interface with NCDOC, DISA, NAVWARSYSCOM, and other DoD entities to optimize computer network operations, performance, and services.• Maintain responsibility for the configuration and administration of various network devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, IDS, and VPN in a heterogeneous environment.

Serve as a Senior Program Manager within the Force Manpower and Assessments Branch (N122) and operate under the direction of the Total Force Requirements Division (N12) within the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) N1 Directorate. Lead Analyst and principle liaison on military manpower topics within the Naval Aviation Enterprise (N98) domain, exceeding 91,800 end strength valued at over $7.4B. Principle duties include offering expert analysis and decision support on current and future manpower initiatives within the N98 domain.Reinforce existing relationships with external organizations (U.S. Naval Fleet, Atlantic and Pacific) and internal OPNAV N-codes. Coordinating with internal and external organizations, develops detailed program briefs that highlight essential trends, status of key initiatives, and makes course of action recommendations. Consistent with CNO’s strategic goals, continually reviews and assesses trends to make defendable programmatic and policy recommendations for organizational changes and improvements to ongoing programs, policies and force structure. Coordinates the placement of CNO priority positions while actively participating in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.Represent N12 to the high-visibility Strategic Laydown and Dispersal 2016 (SLD16) working group, the highest of Navy operational planning levels. Provide valuable manpower assessments of impacts in alignment with projected battle force inventories to national strategic directives, critical data for CNO decision making on Navy wide force structure deployment through 2023.

Designed, implemented, and maintained comprehensive network test bed for ground testing and design of sensitive communications equipment used on RQ-4 Global Hawk Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Operational equipment was part of $7.6M DARPA contract providing battlefield communications support including data networking, surrogate satellite support, cellular-like communications, paging, tactical battlefield broadcast and high throughput data, voice and video.
