Academic Work & Grants: My work has been published in Comparative Drama, The Sixteenth-Century Journal, Early Modern Women, Women's Studies, Journal of Florida Literature, and Theatre Journal. I have received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Japan-US Friendship Commission, the University of Texas-Austin, and the University System of Maryland.Creative Writing: My work has been published in The William & Mary Review, Saw Palm, Gulf Coast Magazine, Peregrine, Journal of Florida Studies, The Dallas Review, and O, Miami!Journalism: My work has been published in Forbes, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, The Miami Herald, Forbes, The Hartford Courant, DCist, and Hispanic magazine.Higher Education Service: I am an Executive Committee Member of the South Atlantic Modern Language Association and Editor of the academic journal Mid-Atlantic Review.
