I have recently graduated from the University of Southampton with a first-class MEng in Aerospace Engineering. I have strong background in lightweight structures and materials and am interested about how the increasing computing power and new manufacturing techniques available are enabling better, faster and cheaper engineering structures.Throughout university I have been involved in both research and design activities. As part of my research I have developed a new non-destructive testing tool and co-authored a scientific paper about it [1]. I was also in charge of the structural design of the first ever student built gas turbine powered unmanned aircraft (UAV) at my university [2].I am looking for opportunities in the area of engineering structures and materials that would enable me to apply and build on what I have learned so far.
