I have collectively spent over 11 years in the design community. It has included my masters in urban design in the UK, my five year long undergraduate studies in India which involved a year of internship and finally a diploma course in interior design. As an intern, I have worked on a range of projects including high end residential, retail and community housing centres. My work included concept development, preliminary design, design development, planning approval drawings, client presentations, working and construction drawings, 3D modelling and rendering. Every project that I have been a part of, I bring to it my brand of thought, which is design focused on strong context based conceptual ideologies that evolve into sustainable designs. I am proficient in AutoCad, Rhino + Grasshopper, SketchUp, RealFlow and Adobe Photoshop. I also have fairly good knowledge of Revit, 3DS Max, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and a number of other 3D rendering software. As part of my course at the Bartlett, I have done extensive research on several urban scenarios, predominantly the use of data mapping and simulations to chart and determine statistical and analytical data sets relevant to the design and planning of an urban area. Emphasis was made on environment related urban issues such as flooding and pollution. Previous design ideologies involved the use of adaptive architecture and building technology. Furthermore, prior work experience has taught me to handle clients, contractors and site workers. I have worked both individually and as part of a team.My passion for architecture stems from an obsession cultivated at the age of 10. It is this very passion, coupled with a strong mix of creativity, critical thinking and reasoning that I believe can be an asset to your firm. Lucid communication and a detail oriented eye regarding all aspects of design, are some of the other skills I would bring to any table.
