Songwriter, Lyricists, Promoter. First of all I am a born again christian. I have written several Country, Pop, and Gospel songs. I have preformed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and on the Grand Ole Opry stage. I have a smooth mellow voice but I am not an entertainer I am more comfortable behind the scenes. My God given talent is songwriting. In 1995 I was able to play recordings of five songs I had written for one of the A&R Directors from Warner Records. She said " Steve it's obvious you have a God given talent for songwriting. If this is a career you want to pursue then you need to sell your house in Louisiana quit your job and move to Nashville. Then you need to hang out at the Blue Bird Cafe or other popular songwriters venues and try to get under the mentorship of a successful writer." However at that time moving was not an option. But because of changing circumstances it is something that I could doing in the near future. I am a historic remodeling contractor and Nashville would be a great place expand the company.
