Position: Senior Associate AuditorClient profile: Small and mid-sized companies in KenyaResponsibilities:• Overseeing the entire audit life cycle including; audit planning, execution, team training and development, reporting, risk evaluations, response to significant risks, and adherence to standards. • Leading core engagement teams, constantly monitoring resources, time and budget. Enumerating engagement findings and recommending improvements in operational and financial processes. • Performing high level reviews of companies’ compliance status in relation to internal policies and procedures, statutory regulations, tax laws around PAYE, VAT, WHT, and Corporation Tax among others. • Analysis of budgets/forecasts and financial statements against actual performance as part of due diligence and compliance checks. • Evaluating internal and external operating environment of organizations, including performing detailed appraisals of control environments, identification of procedural gaps and recommending remedial workarounds for deficiencies.
