The idea came from a need to exhibit, share and see new works of art in our circle and beyond.The accessibility of our living space, especially our living room, which we barely used, was the point of taking action to transform the living space into an art space, offering walls, floor, ceiling and balcony as integral fixed elements for connecting, sharing and exhibiting artwork.In Rotterdam we recognize the potential for exploring possible ways to connect artistic & creative practices, different disciplines and representations of visual and non-visual arts.

Reflecting on almost five enriching years with RainbowSoul Club, an initiative sparked by Saskia Janssen and George Korsmit. Rooted in genuine curiosity, our weekly collaborations within the compassionate spaces of Stichting De Regenboog connected artists, art students, and resilient individuals seeking refuge.Our artistic journey led to impactful exhibitions at prestigious venues like Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam (in collaboration with Gerit Rietveld students), Museum van de Geest, Festival C'est pas de luxe in Avignon and galleries such as Cargo in Context, A Rose is a Rose is a Rose, and Ellen de Bruijne Project. These endeavors were guided by shared ideas, transcending traditional notions of "art production."We were honored to be the recipient of the AFK Prize of the Year in 2022, recognizing the meaningful fusion of art and social engagement at RainbowSoul Club. Yet, our focus remains on humility, collaboration, and the genuine impact on lives.Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a community where every interaction transcends boundaries, emphasizing the shared pursuit of art and humanity.
