Ceo Cum Project Manager
CurrentMy role at Maneki Signage involved hands-on experience in growing the company from a 2 man team to a company of 20. Phase 1 - Sales Goal (Oct 2014 to 2017)In order for the company to grow fast and increase market share, the focus was on generating revenue quickly. My role was to work directly with the customers, giving quotations in record time and providing sales support. At the same time, I expanded the product line to sell more variety of signage and to create a quotation structure for the training of new Sales Representatives. In a span of 4 years, the company grew from annual revenue of $250k to $1mil. Phase 2 - Operations Goal (2017 to 2019)After securing sufficient revenue to keep the company going, my next focus is to set the standards for various departments. Standards are made in Design, Production, Installation, and Operations departments. In order to fully understand the challenges faced by my teammates, I get my hands dirty working side by side with them both in the factory and under the sun. Our team is now working seamlessly between departments. The increase in efficiency means that our team can enjoy a work-life balance. Phase 3 - Profit Goal (2020 to current)The first 5 years were spent building a solid foundation for Maneki Signage. The Covid-19 pandemic gave me an excellent opportunity to work on the refinement of the company. During the 2 months of Circuit Breaker(CB), my focus was to look into the details of our processes. Major upgrades were made to our factory post-CB to help our team get more organized and minimize wastage. I look closely at our accounts to enhance the profitability of each job. Maneki Signage emerged stronger from this pandemic with a 30% improvement in productivity.
