Holding Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma in Computing Studies from University of Melbourne. Member of Institution of Engineers- MIE.Aust since 1988, CPEng, NER Structural, APEC Engineer, PRE (Professional Engineer, DEP (Design Practitioner) in NSW, EC -Vic Registered Building Practitioner and IntPE(Aus) registered.I have around 30 years’ experience in major consultants such as Arup, D & C offices in Australia and some years in SETEC Group in France in the design & construction of vast range of national & international projects. Apart from Australian Standards & BCA, I have practical familiarity with the British, American, and European codes.I have presented few speeches in Engineers Australia & Concrete Institute of Australia in Sydney & Newcastle on topics such as “Watertight Roof structures” & “Strengthening of structures” & “Watertight Concrete” . I have been involved in the design and detailing of Carbon Fibre Strengthening since 1996 while I was working as a senior engineer in Arup. I have excelled my skills in this field over last 28 years continuously working on numerous projects. I have been involved with the rectification of the Opal Tower in Sydney, strengthening works with steel & stressing for Opera House and number of other projects. I have been able to keep myself updated in this ever-evolving field by participating in national and international seminars. I was engaged as a part time lecturer for four years by the dean of the Faculty of Architecture in the University of Sydney to assist year 3 students in achieving practical & structurally adequate solutions in their real projects.I have attended in many international seminars such as FIB -Fédération de l'Industrie du Béton (International Federation for Structural Concrete) : 2010 in Washington, 2015 in Copenhagen, 2016 in Cape Town, 2018 Melbourne, 2023 in Istanbul, 2024 in Christchurch & many national seminars.
