The Center for Health Innovation, Research, Action and Learning – Bangladesh (CHIRAL Bangladesh) is a voluntary non-profit research organization, resolving to promote interdisciplinary research in the field of health data science, computational biology and genomics. As the Founder & Management Lead at CHIRAL, I was responsible for establishing and leading the organization's efforts to advance health innovation, research, action, and learning in Bangladesh.Key responsibilities included:- Developing the organization's vision, mission, and strategy: I worked with a team of experts to develop CHIRAL's strategic plan, including its goals, objectives, and initiatives. I also established the organization's governance structure and ensured that all activities were aligned with its vision and mission.- Securing funding and partnerships: I was responsible for identifying and securing funding from a variety of sources, including government agencies, foundations, and private sector organizations. I also established partnerships with key stakeholders, including universities, research institutions, and community organizations.- Building and managing the team: I recruited and led a diverse team of professionals with expertise in health innovation, research, action, and learning. I provided direction and support to the team and fostered a culture of collaboration and teamwork.- Overseeing program delivery: I was responsible for ensuring that all CHIRAL programs were delivered effectively and efficiently, including research studies, health innovation initiatives, and community engagement activities. I also monitored program outcomes and ensured that they met established goals and objectives.- Representing the organization: I represented CHIRAL at various events and forums, including conferences, workshops, and public meetings. I also acted as the organization's spokesperson and advocated for its mission and goals.

The Center for Bioinformatics Learning Advancement and Systematics Training under the authority of the University of Dhaka was established in October, 2014. The Center was established in view of the importance of 'Bioinformatics' for solving biological problems encountered during pursuit of most of the Life Sciences subjects. The applicability of Bioinformatics for managing biological data was appreciated and the Center was created as a platform for understanding and learning it. Dr. Zeba I. Seraj was appointed as the Director of the Center to serve a term of 3 years from January 1, 2015 and further re-appointed as the Director of the Center from January 1, 2018 for last 3 years. The center is managed by an Administrative Council of 13 members, chaired by the Honorable Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka. Positional members are the Dean of Biological Sciences and the Chair of the BMB Department. In addition, there are 5 more members from BMBDU, one from GEBDU, one from ISRT, DU, one from IIT, DU and one from industry.

International Centre for Diarrheal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICCDR, B) is a pioneer non-profit healthcare research center that deals with several precious humanitarian responses, including fundamental research on diseases in the developing world. I was a research intern at the Health Systems and Population Studies Division at International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh, focusing on mental health.Some efforts included:- Assisted PI in designing and implementing studies on mental health in Bangladesh- Conducted literature reviews and data analysis to support research projects- Participated in fieldwork, including data collection and data entry- Developed keywords and biomedical database search strategy for systematic reviews- Presented research findings at internal meetings and contributed to the writing of research reports and manuscripts

I have provided comprehensive tutoring in Physics and Chemistry to the students of 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.

Bio-Bio-1 is a voluntary, non-profit organization formed by some passionate individuals in late 2008 to learn Bioinformatics for making some sense from the Enigma of Life. It also aims to spread the excitement of Research and Development by infecting like-minded individuals (especially the young ones) through several programs (i.e., weekly Study Circles). I was an active participant in their weekly study circle and learned a lot from them; especially, I learned bioinformatics techniques with the help of Python.
