Hossam Megahed is the founder & CEO of IPMagix, a solution developer in Mobility, IPTV and IPT with special focus on Hospitality vertical.Currently he is the Chairman of EITESAL NGO.He served as a board member of the ITIDA (IT Industry Development Authority) from 2005-2011 and member of board for the Chamber of CIT at the Federation of Egyptian Industries (2004-2011). He is also a member at the American Chamber of Commerce and its ICT committee, a co-founder and board member in the Internet Society of Egypt (ISE).Hossam Megahed holds a B.Sc. in Telecommunications, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University -1985, with an experience for the last 25 years in the fields of IT, Mobile Commerce, Telecommunications, Business Information Services, Electronic Commerce, and Internet business in several multinational organizations. During this period, he joined Alcatel team in Egypt installing Egypt’s first public data network (Egypt Net) which is being operated by Telecom Egypt. Hossam joined GE Information services ‘GEIS’ as the Team-Leader for its Egypt’s operations. Later on, he joined the American Chamber of Commerce as the Manager of its Business Information Center, and then he founded IPMagiX (MNS) in December, 1997. As the CEO & President of IPMagiX (www.ipmagix.com) , Hossam Megahed has built strong strategic alliances with key industry players like Microsoft, Cisco, Samsung that ensured maintaining a continuous edge with the latest technological advances in today’s world.
