Contracted through Arizona Facility Services, I trained and worked at the Wells Fargo Tempe Data and Operations Centers. My primary responsibilities were to physically monitor and maintain the critical power, HVAC, and plumbing for the 2 data centers on site. In addition to working on industrial sized motors, pumps, valves, chillers, and cooling towers, I gained experience with using Johnson Controls, Opto 22, and Liebert SiteScan building automation systems. In 2015, I transitioned to 12-hour graveyard shifts (7pm to 7am), and became more involved with critical electrical work under the data center floors. My secondary responsibilities included general electrical, drywall/painting, plumbing, HVAC, and other maintenance needs for the office buildings on site.
