Bermonsey

Overall running of the store on a daily basis, from organising deliveries and ordering stock to staff development, training and rotas to cashing up and banking. It was a very hands on varied role and I led by example helping to pull pallets of stock for shop floor, jumping on the tills as well as implementing promotions and giving great customer service.

Peckham

This was another exciting job where I had the opportunity to sell a range of jewellery from a £5 pair of earrings for a child to a £10,000+ engagement ring, I also had the opportunity to take on the responsibility of the companies designate management training program which meant I ensured that all new managers gained their Jet 1 Jewellery qualification and settled into their new management roles, I also periodically went to other stores to run a full day Security audit, this was on top of my daily duties within my own store of meeting sales, developing my own team, stock control, staff rotas, weekly stock takes, cashing up, banking and more

Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge

As concessions Manager I was in charge of all aspects of running the location, displays, sales and targeting, stock control and staff training and rotas, as well as interacting and co-operating with the Harvey Nichols Visual merchandising team ensuring our products were present in predominate position in all window displays and on manikins throughout the store.

Old Kent Road London

I was lucky enough to obtain a fixed contract with B&Q for Sundays only and I Loved working here every weekend in conjunction with my full time job. I managed the checkouts, customer service/refunds desk and cash office. Every Sunday I organised the whole stores lunch and break rota to make sure there was enough shop floor and checkout cover. I also did on the spot cash desk checks and refund desk checks. Being at the front of the store it was also my responsibility to liaise with security to minimise theft within the store. The only reason I left was because my full time job requested I work some Sundays so I had to leave B&Q.

Bond Street London

We had the amazing opportunity to open this brand new flagship store on Oxford Street right next door to Bond Street Station. We was by far the busiest store with a multi million pound turnover per annum. I was part of the management team and my key duties included staff training and development for 30-35 staff dependant on the time of year, Staff rotas and running of the shop floor ensuring we met and exceeded sales targets. I also was in charge of co-ordinating the head office visual merchandising team making sure Window displays were changed quickly and efficiently.

South Molton Street London

As my first full time job within retail, I started out as a sales consultant in Knightsbridge branch and worked up to Store Manager of South Molton Street. Working for Senso I learned about every aspect of the shoe industry and even had the opportunity to co-design some shoes for our very successful summer ranges. I had every job role before Manger including stock controller which I really enjoyed as I had the responsibility of ordering directly from the manufacturers in Italy, France and Spain.
