As a Senior Economic Advisor in the Competition Group, I carried out economic analyses necessary for definitions of relevant markets, assessment of firms’ market power and for identifying effective regulatory remedies.- In 2016, I worked on a case of price-discrimination in the market of bulk mail delivery (Competition Act complaint filed by Whistl against Royal Mail)- In 2015, I worked on a review of Sky's regulatory obligation to provide wholesale access to Sky Sports to other pay-TV platforms (so called Wholesale Must-Offer). I was mostly involved in the economic analysis of reciprocal supply and anti-competitive effects of the conduct.- In 2014, I was part of two-man team responsible for geographic market definition and assessment of BT’s market power in Business Connectivity Market Review (BCMR).

- In 2012, I was responsible for relevant market definition (conducted via critical loss analysis) in a horizontal merger between two operators of duty free shops at Prague international airport. - In 2012, I worked with a small team closely cooperating with foreign experts on drafting the competition guidelines of the Czech competition authority.- In 2011, I supervised relevant market definition & competitive assessment in horizontal merger between two wholesale producers of baked food. - In 2010, I was involved in input foreclosure analysis of a vertical merger between wholesale and retail broadband providers.- Between 2010-2012 I was the main case handler in an extensive margin squeeze case in telecommunications. - In 2011, I was involved in relevant market definition and competitive assessment in two predatory pricing cases, both involving passenger transportation.Throughout the entire time, I was also responsible for evaluating economic studies and economic submissions provided to the Office by third parties. In later stages of my job, I regularly provided guidance to case-handlers from other departments in the area of economics analysis.
