I am passionate about leading with a focus on people, in an industry where we have only the intellectual talent of our people to sell. Successful teams include people whose interests are aligned with the project, whose role plays into their personal vision, and whose contributions are valued by peers and managers.Management decisions must be subordinate to leadership objectives. Short-term gains often come at the sacrifice of long-term success. Management must be bold and focused on continuous improvement - unwilling to accept "the way we've always done it" as the way forward. Synergy (a term too often overused) is real but often overlooked, and requires intentionality to realize.I am driven to invest my more than 30 years of technical and managerial experience in a leadership role where I can live out these philosophies.
