For a short time, Living Social offered day trips and "experiences" through Living Social Adventures. I was lucky enough to be hired as an Experience Coordinator to help lead these trips. My job was to connect with clients, explain safety and ground rules, etc. During my time with Living Social I led groups on evening snowshoeing trips on Mt. Hood, Sailing and Beer Tasting on the Willamette, and glass blowing and wine tasting. Unfortunately, the Adventures division as a whole didn't make enough money and was shut down completely in 2012.

In this position I am responsible for creating and implementing all stewardship plans for major gift officers and annual giving. I continually increase communication with donors through a variety of activities including consistent and accurate reporting, appreciation events, face to face meetings and mail.

Responsible for collaborating with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to create a comprehensive marketing and outreach program to raise funds and increase awareness of programs offered. As a new member of the community I was able to quickly form strong relationships and build new partnerships. I worked with businesses, individuals, and local media to form professional working relationships. Under my guidance, the Boys & Girls Club successfully created its first marketing plan, increased media coverage, completed an annual campaign and implemented two successful fundraising events.

I worked with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Umpqua Valley to promote awareness and raise funds to support programs. My responsibilities included event planning, marketing & advertising, creating and promoting press releases and direct fundraising.
