As a software architect at AFAS, together with our team, we where responsible for the frontend architecture of our new product. The first version of the frontend was written in Javascript and using jQuery. This later evolved in an architecture written in TypeScript and our own virtual dom framework MaquetteJs. During this time I also developed for the backend in C# but my main focus was the frontend.As the frontend architecture matured, later in my career at AFAS, I shifted my responsibilities to the backend. Here I am responsible for developing new functionalities using the frontend and backend architecture. I am involved in the early stages of specifying the requirements all the way to the implementation. Most of the development is done in C# but some of the functionalities require an update of the frontend architecture which is in TypeScript.Next to my normal job, I am also a Ergo Coach and I teach fitness classes for my colleagues and I.

Completed my Master Business Informatics thesis at the architecture and innovation department. For the thesis we provided the architects at AFAS with information about the user experience from an architectural view.

My usual activities for Data Access Europe B.V. include the use of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and Visual DataFlex. I use these programming languages and techniques to help create the web framework of Visual DataFlex. The web framework makes it possible to build administrative applications for the web with Visual DataFlex.

I used JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Visual DataFlex, and Sencha Touch 2 to create an extension to the web framework of Visual DataFlex. The extension made it possible to build administrative applications fit for tablets and mobile devices with Visual DataFlex.

In order to handle questions and requests, I created a ticket management system. The system uses a POP mail server to transform the incoming e-mails to tickets. These tickets can then be claimed and processed by the employees. In order to make the ticket handling more fun, I added trophies for them to achieve. The system uses PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

For G-ICT I worked on designing and implementing a SharePoint environment which could be used by MBO interns. The environment includes the tasks of the interns, communication with their teacher.
