During and after earning a multidisciplinary degree in Polymer & Textile Chemistry I had worked in corporate research and development, textile and carpet manufacturing, and sales and marketing by age 30. My technical education allowed me to directly apply it and discover opportunities where thermoplastic polymer compounding could provide solutions for unmet needs in the polyolefins and other areas in the plastics industry. Working with family and friends to obtain the start up capital to found and start Dynamic Modifiers lead to a 20+ year journey as an entrepreneur to provide polymer compounded additives that solve technical problems for our customers that often open up new business opportunities for many of our customers. As a determined individual with a love for what I do, many years of experience in my field of study has tempered my highly creative spirit to think outside the box and manage my team to solve some of the most difficult challenges in the areas of sustainable flame retardants and many other formulated products for the technical textile and other areas where thermoplastics are used in the building material, aerospace, and transportation markets.
