It is my goal to use suppliers and vendors local to Central Kentucky. Worked with outside vendors to provide current dispensers and electronic components. Managed the EC process with all outside vendors. Also designed and equipped a lab for testing existing, developing, and competitor dispensers. Established procedures and built test equipment and fixtures for use in the testing process. In the process of developing these new products, 3 patent applications were submitted.

Supported the Corporate IT initiative of local migration to a JD Edwards ERP. Implemented and supported Citrix Thin clients and associated Citrix server farm. Supported 75 remote Sales Staff. Worked with local and remote users to resolve issues and concerns. Worked with management to determine, and then managed, the IT budget (approximately $1,000,000). Analyzed, selected and managed cell phone service for 135 users, local and remote. Managed and maintained site PBX (Avaya Definity). Worked with local senior management to establish and support a Disaster Recovery Plan, including off-site data storage. Supported and maintained data backup using Backup Exec. Selected and managed outside vendors for IT related services such as office machine purchase and repairs. Supported the Maintenance Department with problems on PC based production converting lines. Researched, selected and developed a Lotus Notes based Customer Complaint System. This platform also became the basis of the Corporate Help Desk System. Designed, purchased, and supported the hardware for a facility wide (850,000 sq ft) RF scanning system for inventory management. Worked with Corporate IT to implement policies and standards at the Harrodsburg facility. Assisted IT Manager in day-to-day responsibilities, filled in for IT Manager is his absence.
