Established in 2017, HIR Studio is a fresh, Hong Kong architectural duo with a passionto create unique and inspiring architecture, spatial design and public installation.Howard and Irene aspire to create visionary designs which inherit their virtues increating innovative, artistic and sensual design, and exploring the public realm withlocal flavors and characters.Prior to their independent practices, they have practiced in Amsterdam, Londonand Hong Kong, with strong background in architectural design from planning toconstruction. Some of the notable projects they have delivered include the WestKowloon Cultural District Masterplan, the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, Vietin Bank,Copenhagen Towers, and the Hong Kong International Airport Midfield Concourse.The experiences from international practices have instilled them with valuableknowledges and design skills that become a nurturing ground for the young practiceto grow.
