CurrentLitigation and non-litigation advocacy focused on removing barriers to expanding distributed and community solar, including utility rate design and utility support for anti-solar policies. Current and recent projects include petitions to, and litigation against, FEMA and HUD concerning renewable energy spending; advocacy before FERC and DOE concerning Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and other alternatives to centralized power projects; calling on the FTC to launch an investigation of utility anti-competitive practices; and challenging utility rollbacks to net metering.
