Utilize IAVM compliance assessment and reporting tools Ensure IAVM tracking is being conducted, reported, and remediated for all networked assets in all areas of responsibility. Create Repositories, Groups, Scan Zones, Asset Lists, Accounts for theater level Users and Organizations. Provide ACAS Reporter and Scanner level intro training. Create TTPs, analyze vulnerabilities, and coordinate with SYSOPS, NETOPS, WANSEC, etc. to create POAMs as necessary and identify vendor recommended remediation steps. Assist System Admins to locate approved patches for download. Analyze statuses, create reports, present findings and attend meetings providing IAVM status to military customers, sites, and systems affected.

Systems Integration Manager - ACS-Xerox – Technology Oversight on all elements of software integration for ITS subsystems. Ensure adherence to best practices and that the various levels of tests cover all aspects of software integration. Ensure vendor-provided documentation is correct, complete, and that all subsystems meet contractual requirements including open architecture and interoperability. Check that the software used on the program is under strict version control and that all changes are well documented. Ensure that the performance of the software is monitored to assure adequate performance as number of field deployment increases. Obtain knowledge of transportation-related technologies and systems including such areas as traffic signal control systems, CCTV systems, license plate recognition systems, photo systems for red light and speed enforcement, VMS systems and AVL systems. Working in a primary office in Saudi Arabia and travel as needed to field/central locations in Saudi Arabia.Xerox annual contract with client was not renewed therefore all positions were cancelled. I was offered a position to work directly for the Saudi prime contractor but after careful consideration declined.

Coordinate with Senior Systems Engineers in a fast-paced environment rolling out new hardware and software platform globally to multiple theaters. Review architecture for each site, request necessary H/W, S/W, engineering, and other needed resources through government channels to complete global deployment. Team successfully completed deployment before 01 Oct deadline to five theatersIn addition, managed two virtual Lab environments consisting of multiple racks of Dell Servers, Cisco switches, APC UPS, running VMware 5.X, Microsoft Server, SQL 2012, multiple security applications, incorporating Disaster Recovery (DR) design features. Work with engineers to document IA compliance and hardening of both Lab environments and create POA&Ms for system accreditation submissions. Update portals with reports and ongoing documentation. Create meeting agendas and schedule weekly DCS meetings with other theaters and vendors.

Provide IA Support Services for US Army Regional Command South (RC-S) in Afghanistan. Process IA incidents in accordance with NIST, DISA, DoD, and Army regulations. Use IA tools to monitor Cyber Network Defense, create tickets, and coordinate with subordinate sites to remediate vulnerabilities. Report weekly statuses to Designated Approval Authority (DAA) and SWA Cyber Center. Maintain/harden RC(S) virtual IA servers. Through continuous weekly training of new Information Management Officers, and coordination with Site IAs, reduced RC-S open IA incidents from peak of 175/month to under 10/month from March to Oct 2013.

Lead IA Analyst at a battalion level unit. Managed IA server & tools. Worked with Admins to maintain security posture, scan for vulnerabilities, coordinate with Admins to mitigate.Submit and respond to IA tickets, train staff on IA best practices. OSI contract ended, then I was picked up by Trace and moved to IA Analyst at RC(S) HQ.

Work with outside vendors, and systems engineers to test, analyze, and present objective evaluations to government on Situational Awareness Risk Management products. Participate in working groups and provide technical analysis incorporating ITIL best practices. Coordinate to resolve issues, improve system performance, and automate maintenance tasks. Increase the security posture of infrastructure, servers, and applications in accordance with DISA STIGs, DoD, and Army regulations. Work with NETOPS Engineering team to build and maintain Validation Test Bed mirroring live production environment which allows testing/hardening of hardware, firmware, software releases, etc. prior to Proof of Concept (POC). Provide TIER III support to TNOSC personnel during POC. Create TTPs, Server Build Guides, and other documentation. CRGT sub-contract with NCI ended.

Design, install, configure, troubleshoot systems for small business. Support Windows Servers, desktops, notebooks, printers, modems, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, WAPs. Experience on Acer, APC UPS, Dell, D-Link, Epson, HP, Linksys, Netgear, PELCO security cameras, Sony, Toshiba, & more. Install racks, CAT-5, fiber, coax, drops, patch panels, terminate, and test. Lost 75% of clients due to 2008 recession.

Manage MS Exchange 5.5, Symantec Anti-Virus (SAV), & Windows Systems Update Server (WSUS). Increased data integrity, security, and system reliability at two remote Army Tech Control sites in Kuwait. Also provide Tier II support to military Help Desk personnel. Took the initiative to implement Exchange backups utilizing retired servers and installing Symantec Veritas backup solution.

Site Manager Composite Health Care System 13 node UNIX/MSM client/server system & later two node DEC Alpha-600 system running VMS/DSM for hospital Alpha site. Military purchased global DEC Alpha tech refresh in large part due to successful deployment at Davis-Monthan AFB. Work with Developers, TIER III Support, and outside vendors to test new CHCS alpha software and hardware releases including Lab HL7 replacement for PDP-11, Provider Order Entry, Managed Care Program, Pharmacy refill system, Tricare integration, and much more. As each new module was developed it went to Alpha sites live first for testing and acceptance before then being globally deployed.Technical Field Support Manager / Road Warrior covering 14 Pacific District sites and fill in troubleshooter to military hospitals and clinics worldwide. Coordinated OSAN AFB hospital ICD9 data reconciliation effort resulting in recoup of over $500,000 in missed 3rd party billing revenue. Received awards from BALBOA, HEIDELBERG, LANDSTUHL, SHAPE, and many other hospitals/clinics supported. During CHCS contract renewal negotiations worked as a Field Engineer for SAIC / CAIS Internet. Road Warrior performing site surveys at hotel chains nationwide. Took measurements, pictures, and used VISIO to create site communications diagrams. Uploaded Site Surveys to central server for processing.
