I joined the military after 9/11 as a mechanic and grinded out an enlistments full of deployments and no time for school. Now that I am out I am using my Montgomery GI Bill to pay for school. I got interested in computers on my last tour in Iraq and started learning on my own with my computer. As of this spring semester I am on the downhill slope to my degree. I graduate in May on track with my plans and I have my CompTIA A+ voucher ready to take my test once my internship is over in mid April.I am interning at Woodrow Wilson Rehab Center in Fishersville. Working out well so far so I am making contacts while learning. I am pretty good with Visual Vasic and databases. I am working on a project at WWRC converting some Access files over to SQL. As far as my future plans go I am going to take the summer off because I have been going non stop since 2008 and I need a break. I am going back to get my AAS at Blue Ridge in Computer Electronics to exhaust my current verion of the GI Bill. Half of the credits on my current degree plan transfer over so it won't even take long. Then I will hopefully have a job by then and I can work on my Bachelor's at my own pace with Old DominionSpecialties: visual basic (liking it so far)database: Access and SQL The above are classes I am currently enrolled in but I like the best.PC repair- CompTIA A+ by the time I graduate
