Ahead of Miami I was really into numbers, I chose to pursue finance, but I kept an open mind when considering my major as I progressed through Miami. While I did not know much about the financial professional field, I did happen to know a few people who worked in finance and really enjoyed what they did, which is why I pursued it. Going into college, the only piece of experience I had was a little administrative work and a sports marketing internship.As a finance student I am looking to advance my knowledge into the field of finance, my past experiences have contributed to what I know today but I know I can improve. In the past I have worked a few administrative and food sales positions that have helped me develop communication and sales skills. When I enter a new position, I bring charisma to the office and to the customers and patients that I encounter. At Miami, I have taken part in the business core where we did the client challenge, one of my roles was to conduct the cost analysis for our project which my group members would say I did a great job with.Before I graduate from Miami, I am not only looking to build my resume, but I am looking to gain the necessary skills to become successful in Finance.
