I started with Hanson in Springfield, IL in 1999 as a structural engineer and moved to the St. Louis office in 2001. I was named an assistant vice president in 2019 and lead the management and business development efforts for our St. Louis, MO offices in addition to managing Hanson's bridge practice nationwide.I have provided structural engineering and management services for numerous noteworthy roadway and railroad bridge design projects, including seismic design, from Florida to Alaska. He also has a broad range of structural experience, including building projects, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers flood protection projects and foundation designs for electrical transmission line river crossings.A leader in the community and the engineering industry, I was a member of the 2019 Leadership Missouri class, sponsored by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry; the American Council of Engineering Companies of Missouri (ACEC-MO), where I serve on the Board of Directors, as well as on the transportation committee, government affairs committee and various client liaison committees; and a member of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, serving on the Structural Exam Committee.
