After graduating from Texas A&M with a Bachelor's of Science in Atmospheric Science, I became an Active Duty weather officer in December 2014. I served about six-and-a-half years in the US Air Force and forecasted for locations across the world in that time. For two years, I oversaw a 28-member ops floor which delivered weather forecasts and warnings as well as pilot briefings to 151 sites across the Northeastern US region. Next, I served in the Republic of Korea as the leader of an 8-member weather team which delivered weather briefings and mission impacts regarding the Korean Theater of Operations to the 4-Star Combined Forces Command General and his Staff. In 2019, I deployed within Germany to support the Rotational Aviation Forces; here, I led a 14-member weather team deployed across 5 European nations while directly briefing weather impacts to the O-6 Brigade Commander and his Staff. Lastly, I served as Chief of Weather Operations for US Army Europe-Africa, where I led a 7-member weather team which provided support for the 4-Star Commanding General and his Staff; in this position, I was charged with both short term daily operations support as well as long term weather planning for the 51-nation European Area of Operations. Since separating from the military in 2021, I have been engaged as a student at Texas A&M University to earn a Master's of of Science in Environmental Engineering.
