• In coordination with Tooling Managers- monitor tooling progress and quality • Expedite T1-T4 tooling activities• Establish Henkel standard process (Golden Recipe) at tool sample• Validate tool sample targets and performance• Transfer setup and results to Tooling Mangers for local implementationDesign for Manufacture Support:• Evaluate part design from tool and process requirements (DFM for Tool and Manufacture).• In cooperation with the Tooling Managers, evaluate for cost save opportunities with part design• In cooperation with Tooling Managers, evaluate tool build for cost save opportunities• In cooperation with Tooling Managers, evaluate part and mold design for optimum performance.Supplier Development• Evaluate supply base for competitive sourcing opportunities• Establish corrective action process• Educate on Henkel molding principals (Golden Recipe)Technology Development • Evaluate cost save opportunities from LCC sources and validate• Manage R&D projects for cost save potential and validate• Share best practice knowledge within the disciplines of molding, mold design, to support business goals.
