Fourth year Statistics student, future Biostatistician. My passion for statistical and data analysis brought me to Brigham Young University, where I am working on my Bachelors of Statistics with an emphasis on Biostatistics. The most valuable lesson I have learned from BYU has been the importance of pseudo code. Even though I know I want to be a data analyst and biostatistician, I have enjoyed learning to solve problems with logic before diving in to creating solutions with code. My class in Python programming has provided me with great insights for a future career in statistical analysis.This year I have mastered Linux, Python, MySQL, and R. I continue to build skills in SAS. In the Summer I completed an internship at the Summer Institute in Biostatistics and Data Science at Boston University. I was able to learn from experts in the field about real world statistical modeling and programming application.
