Effective January 1, 2011 I assumed ownership of CDFM Architectural. CDFM was founded in 1990 to provide architectural design and record document services for building owners and facility managers. Its founder, Richard Heinemeyer, AIA, retired December 31, 2013.The firm is dedicated to providing highly experienced principal-level attention to all of its clients and projects. We have a wide range of experience in all types of buildings and documentation, with personalized attention to clients in traditional architectural services, as well as feasibility analysis, due diligence analysis for property acquisition, programming and needs assessment, master planning, construction document preparation and construction administration. The firm’s motto: ‘Appropriate Technology for Building Design and Facility Management’, reflects a balance of technological solutions with pragmatic sensitivity to our clients needs. Much of our project type experience overlaps including Commercial, Retail, Residential and Multi-family design. My experience in Hospitality and Richard’s in Solar Energy design will add depth to our collective reach.After over thirty five years as a practicing Architect, with large and small firms, and also running my own business I've found that this venture is allowing me to provide the same personal service that I have in the past, while increasing my capacity to attend to a variety of commissions. Club & All-Star 7s Director Rocky Mountain Rugby Union / Frontier Competitive Region of USA Rugby since inception in 2014 & continue in the lead role facilitating elite 7s Rugby for adult male players & coaches in CO, KS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SD & WY. In July 2017 Denver Selects were designated a USA Rugby National Development Academy (1 of 5)• Lead role with the FCR Committee, managing the Men's Club 7s Regional Playoffs.• Determine the timing & locations of regional FCR 7s qualifiers.• Update and refine bid package/ host requirements.• Set a schedule for regional FCR 7s qualifiers.• Discussions with FCR Executives to review program and requirements.• Update and refine team requirements, conditions of entry, tournament rules, instructions to refs.• Update and Issue FCR Qualifying 7s Tournaments Competition Rules and Regulations.• Prepare press releases re: FCR 7s Championship.• Review schedule and budget to achieve the goals. • Manage/oversee the playoff system and establish tasks to be completed and set dates accordingly. • Work with Local Hosts as they manage the Qualifier Tournaments in their area.• Update and refine forms including: rosters, brackets, schedules results.• On site Commissioner - Check in teams, observe all matches, keep match notes, award trophies.• Issue match results and maintain results and standings data base.• Identify teams that qualify for the USA Men's Club 7s Championship.Frontier Region / Denver 7s National Development Academy• Manage/oversee the Regional All-Star Men's 7s Team and establish tasks to be completed.• Organize support staff and coaches for the Team.• Scout and recruit players for the Team.• Assist in Coaching and Development of players• Arrange facilities for the Team.• Arrange event participation for the Team.• Arrange Team travel and facilitate welfare at events.• Prepare budget and facilitate funding for the Team.• Communicate with USA Rugby National Team staff to facilitate player opportunities.

2019 – 2022, 2024After a successful 3+ years, I no longer hold this position.• Lead role managing the USA Rugby Club 7s National Championship in direct coordination with the USA Rugby Tournament Director, USA Rugby 7s Working Group, & High Performance Game Board• Coordinate & communicate seeding for the National Championship to CR 7s Chairs• Update, coordinate, & communicate Club 7s Competition Rules and Regulations• Communicate eligibility changes to the competition• Oversee bidding process and venue selection for Men’s 7s Open Qualifiers and National Club 7s Championship• Manage and oversee the playoff system• Assist with operation of Open 7s Qualifier events and National Club 7s Championship• Refine team requirements, rules, instructions to refs, venue standards, and host requirements• Work with CR 7s Coordinators as they manage seven-a-side competition within their Region

After a productive 9+ years, I stepped away from operating the Tournament to focus on other projects. The Denver 7s Rugby Tournament LLC (Denver 7s) is dedicated to the management, promotion, marketing, development, and/or production of athletic competitions and events, including rugby football 7-a-side (7s) matches.

1994 – 5, 2002 – 2018After a Fantastic 20 +/- years, I stepped away from operating the Tournament to focus on other projects.• Lead organizing committee and all tournament activities including planning, operations, officiating, volunteers, public relations, risk management, media, and sponsor relations for 7-division annual tournament (2000+ participants & 1500+ spectators).• Oversee negotiations for event sites, hotel accommodations, vendors, and sponsor placement.• Recruit teams from across the US to participate in tournament.• Design and administer post tournament survey for all participants; analyze results and incorporate into future event plans.• Tournament selected as West Rugby Union/ Frontier Region qualifying event for the USA Rugby Men's Club 7s Championship 2001 to present.• Tournament was a participant event in the USA Sevens Cup Championship Series in 2009 and 2010.• In 2012, 2013 & 2014 the Denver 7s Tournament was held inside the 19,000 seat MLS Stadium at Dicks Sporting Goods Park as well as on the fields outside the Stadium.• In 2015, 2016 & 2017 the Denver 7s Tournament partnered with Rugby Colorado to provide a youth event for 1,200+ players aged 6 to 15 along side the HS, Collegiate and Adult divisions

After a Fantastic 6 years with NSCRO, I stepped away to focus on other projects.I was retained by the National Small College Rugby Organization (400+ schools and growing) as the NSCRO 7s Commissioner and head of the NSCRO 7s Committee. I was involved in the creation of the NSCRO Men's National 7s Championship in 2012/2013 and continue to build the competition, including refinement of the process as well as improvement / expansion of the competition leading up the actual Championship held in conjunction with the Collegiate Rugby Championship hosted by USA Sevens in Philadelphia, PA.• Lead role with the NSCRO Committee, managing the NSCRO 7s National Playoffs.• Determine the timing & locations of regional NSCRO 7s qualifiers.• Update and refine bid package/ host requirements.• Set a schedule for regional NSCRO 7s qualifiers.• Discussions with United World Sports (UWS) / CRC host to review program and requirements.• Update and refine team requirements, conditions of entry, tournament rules, instructions to refs.• Update and Issue NSCRO Qualifying 7s Tournaments Competition Rules and Regulations.• Prepare press releases to be reviewed by NSCRO 7s Committee re: NSCRO 7s Championship.• Review schedule and budget to achieve the goals. • Manage/oversee the playoff system and establish tasks to be completed and set dates accordingly. • Work with Regional Coordinators as they manage the Qualifier Tournaments in their Region.• Manage/oversee the National 7s Championship and establish tasks to be completed.• Update and refine forms including: rosters, brackets, schedules results.• Act as on site Commissioner. - Check in NSCRO teams, Attend all matches, Keep match notes, award trophies.• Issue match results and name all tournament team.• Issue press release.• Issue and collect team follow up survey.• Participate in follow up discussions with NSCRO 7s Committee and CRC.
