Directly responsible for the management of $600 M overall project investments.Specific accomplishments during this period included:- Development, licensing, construction and financing of the Ravenswood 250 MW Gas Fired Combined Cycle facility. Commercial operation began in 2004. Overall project investment was $383M and was financed as a sale/lease back. This facility operates as a merchant facility in the wholesale NYC market.- Development and licensing of the Spagnoli Road Energy Center, a 250 MW Gas Fired Combined Cycle facility for future consideration to the Long Island Power Authority as a new source of capacity or to be utilized as a resource to support repowering of the existing generating assets on Long Island.- Development licensing, construction and tax exempt financing of the Glenwood and Port Jefferson Energy Centers. Each facility is an 80MW LM 6000 Peaking Facility and is under long term contract with the Long Island Power Authority. Projects investments were $200 M. -

Managed all due diligence activities, market valuations, bid preparation and submission. Negotiated final Purchase and Sales agreement and lead closing and transition effort. The transaction value was $597M and has exceeded all financial expectations for KeySpan.Managed numerous generating asset acquisition opportunities during this period.Managed the Power Supply Agreement (PSA), a long term Purchase Power Agreement with the Long Island Power Authority valued at $330.5 M revenue annually. This contract is for 4,100 mw’s of legacy generation formerly owned by the Long lsland Lighting Company. This included rate case preparation and testimony before the FERC. Throughout this period the business unit maximized contract profitability and operating incentives under the contract which focused on summer availability, maintaining maximum generating capability and thermal performance.Managed a business unit re-engineering initiative resulting in several key business changes. Productivity enhancements, reorganization and thermal performance improvements were key elements of this re-engineering initiative. .
