My career in public accounting started in June 1995 immediately after receiving my accounting degree from American University. From the start, I focused on tax compliance and planning for individuals, but quickly expanded into the fiduciary tax area which helped me transition to my current firm - Kositzka, Wicks & Company. This included preparing and reviewing estate tax returns, income tax returns for estates and trusts, as well as charitable trusts and private foundations.
