As a Principal, Howard provides leadership within and outside of the office. He represents DEDC to customers and the community. Howard manages projects and/or functions as the Principal in Charge and is also responsible for managing staff, developing new relationships and strengthening existing relationships. Howard champions utilizing continuous improvement techniques to assure that DEDC’s services continue to improve and meet the needs of our customers.As a Project Manager and/or Principal in Charge, Howard oversees the projects he manages to ensure DEDC provides the proper level of coordination and communication. He is responsible to make sure that project metrics are clearly defined and met. Howard brings his experience in design, project management and leadership to each assignment or project. He is particularly skilled at the design development phase of a project where his involvement results in careful planning, scheduling and consideration of requirements. He enjoys the strategic planning component of project and enjoys encouraging development of others to achieve team goals. Howard is a skilled communicator who interacts with internal and external resources and customers at all levels to ensure communication and coordination between members of the project team.Outside of work Howard enjoys fishing, sports and the beach. He is also active in a variety of professional and community organizations.
