Time and Attendance – clocking in, clocking out. To some, it isn’t an industry they know even exists and to others, they struggle to find the glitz and glamor. To me however, I wouldn’t change it for the world.As I sit here writing this, I can look around my desk and nearly every item I can view would have touched the supply chain within the Workforce Management industry. The courier company that delivered this laptop I am writing on, the food and beverage organisation that has produced my sandwich through to the bespoke furniture business that has made my office chair. All these organisations have implemented Time and Attendance, HR and Payroll solutions to accurately record the hours their staff have worked, record staff training competencies and pay their people their correct pay and on time. And to me, this is why I find this industry fascinating, exciting and fulfilling.For over the last decade (if you are really keen, check the bio for the exact times) I have had the joy in helping business from start up’s to FTSE 100, local and international, solve their business challenges (quick insight- the same challenges are really really commonplace regardless of size) through successful adoption of Time and Attendance software. These solutions engage your staff (we all want to be paid correctly, right?) and help deliver revenues previously unrecognisable. Powerful yet so simple.
