UK Global Healthcare is overseeing Indo UK Institute of Health's Medicities programme across eleven states in India with the support of the UK and Indian governments.

Healthcare UK was established jointly by the National Health Service, Department of Health and UK Trade & Investment to facilitate major government-to-government engagement on behalf of the UK health industry, both public and private. It was launched at Arab Health in Dubai in January 2013 and works with governments and healthcare providers around the world helping to develop innovative solutions to address specific healthcare challenges.Healthcare UK's priority markets are China, India, the Middle East and Latin America with the ASEAN region being considered as the next area of focus. Healthcare UK was launched in South America during Hospitalar in Sao Paulo in May, then in Beijing at the China Health Forum in August and in India during the Indo-British Health Partnership Oncology Summit in Chennai in September 2013.Healthcare UK's main areas of delivery focus reflect recognised world-class expertise in the UK including: Medical Education and Training, Primary Healthcare, Infrastructure including PPP, Digital Health and Health Systems Development.Since its launch, Healthcare UK has helped to generate over £5billion of export business for British healthcare organisations in the public and private sector. It was also instrumental in establishing the UK International Healthcare Management Association (UKIHMA) which brings together over 40 NHS and private sector organisations to respond to new opportunities in the priority markets.I have now stepped down from the role of Managing Director on completion of my three year contract.
