A highly competent and experienced Geophysicist of over 35 years industry experience with a strong awareness of the sales process, adept at assessing the business needs of our clients, providing innovative solutions and driving awareness of TGS’s processing business. Responsible for coordination and management of all processing and imaging business opportunities in the eastern hemisphere, responding to tenders and engaging in proactive selling of imaging technology and services. Asist in communicating the full range of processing solutions to clients, and coordinate with key stakeholders to manage customer expectations and leverage opportunities for processing services for TGS.This year I am also very honoured to be a convener for PETEX 2024.

Responsible for the day to day managing and overseeing of all technical aspects of Multi-Client seismic processing projects from conception to final QA/QC in EAME and AP regions. Key functions of the role:• Work with both internal and external processing teams to ensure appropriate workflows are derived for each survey so that the highest quality product is delivered on budget on time.• Responsible for day to day management and overseeing of all technical aspects of multi-client seismic processing projects from conception to final QA/QC.• Act as a conduit between the multi-client business unit and the processing team, to make sure the aims and objectives are relayed in both directions and that focus is maintained on the agreed G&G targets.• Manage all stakeholders (internal and external) and maintain their expectations throughout. • Perform final QC of all seismic and associated products for each project to ensure that the deliverables meet the expectations of all stakeholders. • Weekly reports to clients. Organise regular QC meetings with clients.

Responsible for the co-ordination of regional centres in Cairo, Beijing, Jakarta, Islamabad and New Delhi with the head office, to ensure processing undertaken in those centres was performed to the highest standard.Advise and assist in seismic processing testing where appropriate.Assist with Business Development in each centre and help the processing manager to manage their workload. Also responsible for reporting financial performance of the overseas centres.

Joined Spectrum as a processing Geophysicist specialising in land data. Promoted several times before becoming Team Leader in the data processing division in 1996. Now with over 20 years of data processing experience, gained from working on 2D and 3D projects, land and marine, from all over the world.

Employed in assisting general processing of land data from Libya and Egypt.
