Howard Perry is the Senior Vice President and Manager of Power and Civil Service Line, within the Energy Business Unit of S&ME, Inc. In this role, he is responsible for client and program management for key Power Sector clients where S&ME provides support in nuclear, fossil/hydro, transmission, and the renewables markets. He provides leadership in strategy and growth in keeping with S&ME’s commitment to safety and quality and above all maintaining The S&ME Promise of “A fierce dedication to honesty and integrity on every level and in every encounter.”For over 30 years, Howard has served in a variety of roles for S&ME including Regional Manager, Office Manager and Principal Engineer. As Regional Manager, he provided leadership for $40 million dollar business unit that had offices in multiple states. Served as Office Manager of the Greenville/Spartanburg office for 15 years. He continues to serve as Principal Engineer for geotechnical, environmental, construction and materials testing, and civil engineering projects. This experience extends to the industrial, commercial, transportation as well as the energy markets.Howard has also been active in professional and civic organizations. He has served as an officer or board member locally for ASCE, SCSPE, and ACEC of South Carolina.
