Shift supervisor duties include answering the phone, coordinating and dispatching calls to security staff, engineering, housekeeping, and property services, and assist guests with any concerns with their stay at the Queen Mary. Regular duties include providing event security, assisting event guests, answering guest questions, and performing routine patrols of grounds.

Assist a wide range of students with varying computer skills and different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds with their computer homework, provide some assistance with mathematics homework, and provide workshops on basic computer usage. Work closely with the Division Dean Dr. Haragawen Kinde, and the Division staff to maintain and improve the level of service that is offered.

Supervisory duties included managing retail inventory with crews of 5 – 40 personnel, assigning crew members to various departments within retail stores, conducting accuracy checks when requested by store management, reviewing the inventory results with store managers. Regular duties included counting retail merchandise, re-counting sections that had large variations in totals from previous quarter’s results, and working closely with store managers to achieve satisfactory results.
