Personal Goal PursuitCareer Break Sep 2021 - Apr 2023In early 2013, I relocated from Canada to the UK to take on a larger role at Tech Data UK&I and fix a difficult situation. The role, opportunity, people, country and experiences all exceeded my expectations.The only challenge was that due to circumstances, my family remained in Canada. Together we agreed to make it work and they were incredibly supportive - lots of FaceTime, travel back & forth and vacations either in Europe or back home - however, it's not the same as being present.After 8 great years in the UK and a fantastic 33 year career with Tech Data, I decided to retire from the Company in Sep '21 to return to Canada, re-connect with family & friends, take a well-deserved break from work and embark on a couple of projects around the house.Fast forward to present, I've been able to do everything I set out to, re-charged my batteries and am now seeking a new opportunity to put my skills & experience back to work.
