I led Jade Logistics based in Sydney and with a global responsibility. Jade Logistics is an integrated Logistics Intelligence provider combining the Jade 'Master Series' Products with Jade Consulting services.During 2 years at Jade I succeeded in developing the sales pipeline to the best on record, and significantly improved overall profitability.

As Technical Director with AECOM, I led many significant consulting projects around the world, and in 2009 was awarded one of only four AECOM Excellence Awards for "Thought Leadership in Port Development". AECOM is one of a global leader in providing fully integrated professional technical and management support services for a broad range of markets. In 2009 AECOM employed circa 47,000 staff around the world.

My role with Patrick included many exciting challenges, including development of the worlds very first Automated Straddle Carrier (AutoStrad) at the Patrick Terminal, BrisbaneI led many consulting projects for clients around the world reviewing potential development options for automation and optimisation. With P&O Ports I gained valuable hands-on planning and operational experience, and in 1995 I designed "Controlled Random Stacking" (CRS); an innovative container yard management concept to optimise container stacking and to improve land use efficiency.
