I grew up in Augusta Georgia, graduating high school at the age of seventeen and joining the Marines the same year, later I went on to serve in the Air Force. After serving honorably in both branches, I achieved my undergraduate on the GI bill which proved to me discipline, hard work, focus, and determination pays off. My professional career began after college working in big-box retail where I managed between 25 to 30 employees. I eventually would move up to three store locations with sales of $3-$5M each. After 12 years of retail, I returned to school to complete my MBA. After which, I started consulting, my first project was to lead a production workstream in a facility that produced engines. This is where I began to understand the importance of implementing change and releasing untapped value potential throughout the value stream by working with various disciplines like sales and operations planning, maintenance and reliability, engineering, HR, and EHS, to name a few, to identify and eliminate waste using Lean principles, resulting in tens of millions in savings. I credit this success to creating an environment driven through a progressive data-driven culture involving the workforce, process improvement, and management operating system. Each assignment over the past 20 years has brought more responsibility, challenges, and learnings as I've worked in multiple industries like manufacturing, food and beverage, telecommunications, oil & gas, pharma, and consumer packaged goods. Today as a certified Project Management Professional, I deliver value in change management and operational performance management. Through the years I have been known for elevating organizational skills and capability through knowledge transfer, designing, and delivering strategies. More importantly, my ability to incorporate people, processes, and systems to drive behavior change has resulted into accelerating savings to the top and bottom lines for Fortune 500 companies. I am skilled at project/program management, service delivery, and client relationships. By blending analytical skills, business acumen, critical thinking and problem solving with situational leadership, executive presence and an engaging interpersonal style, I deliver results in key areas.
